Gartner has made some fascinating assumptions about the future digital workspace
In their Predicts 2018: Digital Workplace Technologies report published on December 8, 2017 Gartner makes some interesting projections on the future of the digital workspace, and what technologies will look like that power the most successful teams in the years to come.
Gartner writes that, “For many organizations, access to content — for example, through document management, search and file shares — is wrongly seen as providing access to information, and therefore the insight employees need. In reality, there is an ‘information gap’ between content and insight that employees have to negotiate on their own. Although a minority of employees with the right expertise and tools can negotiate the gap effectively and efficiently, the majority do not. All lose time doing so, as well as running the risk of missing the information that can lead to the insight they need.”
Swarm is working to make collaboration in the enterprise a norm within program management.
